Phnom Penh, Cambodia | 2024 | Store design | Completed

A 150 sqm clothing store in Phnom Penh, blending heritage elements with modern luxury. The client sought to create an elegant yet understated environment where simplicity is balanced with a sense of luxury.

  • Parisa, a new clothing store located in Phnom Penh, designed with a minimalist, stripped back approach which subtly conveys a sense of heritage. The client sought to create an elegant yet understated environment where simplicity is balanced with a sense of luxury.

The store’s design combines modern touches with traditional elements. Soft pearl-white millwork adds a classic tone, while timber herringbone flooring introduces warmth and texture. Black metal fixtures bring a modern contrast.

The store features an open-plan layout with dress racks hung around the perimeter, leaving the central space free and flexible. The fitting rooms, accessed through a prominent archway, offer customers a more intimate experience. Thoughtfully positioned track lighting ensures both flexibility and ambience, helping to highlight key areas throughout the store.

The storefront takes inspiration from classic Parisian design – from which the name derives, with arches framing the entrance and giving the space a distinct identity. Wall sconces add a refined touch to the exterior, enhancing the elegance of the façade while subtly nodding to the sense of heritage that permeates the store.
